GAEL McLAUGHLIN - PRODUCER

DOCUMENTARIES

Gaels' TV credits as a researcher included Dispatches: Death In The Alps, the RTS Award winning BBC documentary Julie's Story and the BBC documentary Ancient Voices: Stonehenge.
Gael also wrote, produced and directed the documentary Fighting Time commissioned and broadcast by Granada Television.

SHORT FILMS

TUG OF WAR Gael produced Scott Mann's first short film Tug Of War in collaboration with Granada Film.
IN DA MIX She was also Line Producer on the UKFC short film In Da Mix written and directed by Jerwood Award Winner Wade Jacks.

FEATURE FILMS

THE TOURNAMENT Gael was Production Finance Consultant on the The Tournament starring Robert Carlyle, Kelly Hu and Ving Rhames. Directed by Scott Mann. Written by Gary Young. Produced by Keith Bell. Sales agents AV Pictures. Distributed in the UK by Entertainment Film Distribution and in the US by The Weinstein Company.

HARRY BROWN She was then Assistant To The Producer (Jan-April 2009) on feature film Harry Brown. Starring Sir Michael Caine and Emily Mortimer. Directed by Academy Award nominee Daniel Barber. Produced by Keith Bell and Kris Thykier. Sales agents HanWay Films. Distributed in the UK by LionsGate UK.

MAGIC LIGHT AND GUIDING LIGHTS SCHEMES

MAGIC LIGHT PRODUCER PLACEMENT SCHEME Gael was one of six producers chosen to be a part of the 2010 Magic Light Producer Placement Programme and spent time with numerous companies across the film industry including Optimum Releasing, Salt, Substance PR, Freud Communications, BBC Films, The UK Film Council, Olswang, Shipleys and Ealing Studios.

GUIDING LIGHTS MENTORING SCHEME She was also selected to be a part of the 2010 Guiding Lights sheme, and her mentor is Iain Smith (The A-Team, Children of Men,The Fifth Element.)
